FOREST CRANE PALMS 7.94

PALMS 7.94 Forestry Crane: 9.4 m Reach for Heavy-Duty Forestry Work

The PALMS 7.94 is a heavy-duty forestry crane built for daily professional use, and it reaches further than any other crane in the PALMS 7 Series. Its double telescopic boom gives 9.4 m of outreach, so operators cover more ground from one position and spend less time repositioning the tractor or trailer. It suits forestry blocks and commercial operations across New Zealand and Australia.

With 96 kNm of gross lifting torque, 1,750 kg of lift at 4 m and 380° of slewing, the 7.94 has the strength to load chippers and run harvester heads. On a tractor, it mounts through a JAKE mounting system built to that tractor’s serial number, with the frame running through the chassis and around both rear axles to carry the crane’s load. Every JAKE build ALFA has delivered in New Zealand runs a PALMS 7.94.
